[ TO BE COMPLETED ]). The AMOE address in §21 is legally operative — it is what makes"no purchase necessary" true, and entries are physically mailed to it — so it
cannot be guessed or borrowed from another document. Everything else in these
Rules is final.
1. Sponsor
The Hunt is administered by Digital Summit LLC, [ TO BE COMPLETED ] ("Sponsor"). The Hunt mobile application is the "Platform."
2. Eligibility
Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are the age of majority in their state of residence (18+, or 19+ where applicable) at the time of entry, except that minors 13–17 may participate only through a verified parent/legal-guardian account and any prize is awarded to the adult guardian (see §9). Employees, officers, and contractors of Sponsor and its affiliates, and their immediate family/household members, are not eligible. Participation in certain hunts may carry an additional age requirement (e.g., 21+ for venues serving alcohol); those hunts are restricted accordingly. Void where prohibited.
3. Entry / Promotion Period
Sweepstakes drawings run in recurring entry periods ("Seasons"). Each Season's start/end date and time (Central Time) is shown in-app on the Reward Vault for the applicable prize. Sponsor's clock is the official timekeeper.
4. How to Enter — TWO FREE METHODS
You can earn Entries that you redeem toward a prize drawing in the Reward Vault. Entries have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.
(a) Gameplay method (free): Create a free account and complete hunts whose checkpoints are verified by the Platform to earn Drawing Tokens, which you may redeem for drawing Entries in the Reward Vault. Creating an account and playing is free, and every participant earns Drawing Tokens at the same rate for the same verified activity, whatever plan they are on.
(b) Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) — also free, no gameplay required: To receive one (1) free Entry toward any active drawing without playing, mail a hand-written 3×5 card with your full name, address, email, date of birth, and the name of the drawing you wish to enter to: [ TO BE COMPLETED ]. Limit one Entry per outer envelope; mailed Entries must be postmarked within the Season and received within 5 business days of the Season end. Each valid AMOE card = one Entry, equivalent to the standard gameplay Entry. *(AMOE is legally required so that no purchase/payment is ever necessary to enter or win.)*
(c) Token-to-Entry conversion (set by prize value; identical for everyone). Drawing Tokens are redeemed for Entries at a fixed rate that is the same for every participant regardless of plan (Free, Hunter Standard, Hunter Elite, Family Standard or Family Elite). The rate is determined by the prize's Approximate Retail Value (ARV) per the schedule below; each prize's listing states its exact tokens-per-Entry and per-user Entry cap:

Entries are redeemed manually by the participant; no Entry is granted automatically by any purchase. Per-prize tokens-per-Entry and Entry caps are fixed when the prize is published and may be set per event in that prize's Official Rules.
(d) Hunt XP is not Drawing Tokens, and multipliers do NOT multiply Entries. Separately from Drawing Tokens, the Platform awards Hunt XP, which measures game progression (levels, badges and leaderboards). Some memberships and events earn Hunt XP faster. Hunt XP multipliers increase XP only; Hunt XP cannot be exchanged for Drawing Tokens or Entries, and XP multipliers do not grant additional Drawing Tokens or Entries and do not change the token-to-entry conversion or the odds.
No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. Optional paid memberships may unlock additional game content and faster Hunt XP progression, but they do not provide additional drawing Entries or Drawing Tokens, do not improve odds of winning, and are not required to enter or win.
5. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received for a given drawing. Because every participant earns Drawing Tokens at the same rate for the same verified activity, and redeems them for Entries at the same fixed rate and under the same per-user cap, paid plans do not confer better odds.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
Winners are selected in a random drawing from all eligible Entries for each prize after the Season closes. Winners are notified via the email/phone on file and/or in-app within 5 days. A potential winner must respond and complete verification (see §7–§9) within 7 days of notification or the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner drawn.
7. Prizes
Prizes and their Approximate Retail Value (ARV) are described in the Reward Vault for each drawing. No cash alternative or substitution except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes are non-transferable. Limit one prize per person per Season unless stated otherwise.
8. Prize Redemption & Winner Verification
Before a prize is awarded, a potential winner must (a) confirm eligibility, (b) provide a valid government-issued photo ID to verify identity and age, and (c) sign and return any Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where lawful) Publicity Release. Sponsor may deny a prize to anyone who fails verification, is ineligible, or is suspected of fraud, automation, or violating these Rules or the Terms of Service.
8a. Physical & Higher-Risk Prizes — Safety & Assumption of Risk
Certain prizes are physical goods or activities that carry inherent risk (for example, a dirt bike, motorized vehicle, power equipment, firearm where lawful, travel, or adventure experience). For any such prize, additional requirements apply and are stated in that prize's listing and these Official Rules, which may include: a minimum age of 18 (or the legal age for the item), proof of any required license/permit, and a signed Safety Acknowledgment, Assumption-of-Risk, and Liability Release before the prize is delivered. By accepting a physical or higher-risk prize, the winner assumes all risk of injury, loss, or damage from its use and agrees that Digital Summit LLC ("the Sponsor"), The Hunt, and their sponsors, partners, affiliates, officers, and vendors are NOT responsible or liable for any injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from the prize or its use. Winners must use the prize lawfully and safely, wear appropriate protective gear, and follow all manufacturer and legal requirements. The Sponsor makes no warranty on any prize beyond any manufacturer warranty and may require the winner to take delivery from a licensed dealer where the item legally requires it.
9. Minors
A participant 13–17 may only win through their verified parent or legal guardian, who must be 18+ and a U.S. resident. The guardian must approve the entry, complete all verification and tax documents in §8 and §10, and the prize is awarded to and in the name of the guardian. Participants under 13 are not eligible and the Platform is not directed to them.
10. Taxes — IMPORTANT
Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes. For any winner whose prize value (or aggregate prizes in a calendar year) is $600 or more, U.S. tax law requires Sponsor to issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC. As a condition of receiving such a prize, the winner (or the adult guardian for a minor) must complete and return an IRS Form W-9 providing their legal name and Taxpayer Identification Number (Social Security Number or EIN). Failure to provide a completed W-9 within ten (10) days will result in forfeiture. Sponsor will report and, where required, withhold taxes as the law requires. SSNs/TINs are collected solely for tax compliance, transmitted and stored securely (encrypted, access-restricted), used only for prize tax reporting, and retained only as long as legally required — see the Privacy Policy.
11. Publicity
Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner's first name, last initial, city/state, and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.
12. General Conditions
Sponsor may disqualify any participant who tampers with the Platform, uses bots/automation, spoofs GPS or verification, creates multiple/fake accounts, or otherwise acts in bad faith. Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate a Season if fraud, technical failure, or any factor impairs its integrity, and may select winners from eligible Entries received to that point.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, participants release Sponsor, its affiliates, vendors, and venues from any claim or liability arising from participation, travel to/from any hunt location, or acceptance/use of a prize. Participants are responsible for their own safety; obey all laws, traffic, trespassing, and venue rules. The Hunt sends players to real-world locations — never trespass, never play while driving, and use good judgment.
14. Disputes / Governing Law
These Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Except where prohibited, all disputes are resolved individually — no class actions — in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, or by binding arbitration if elected in the Terms of Service.
15. Privacy
Information collected from entrants is used per The Hunt Privacy Policy and (for SSNs/W-9) §10 above.
16. Void Where Prohibited; State Registration
Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Where a Season's prize pool requires state registration/bonding (e.g., NY, FL, RI), Sponsor will register before opening that Season to those states or exclude those states as permitted.
17. Winners List
For a list of winners for a given Season, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to [ TO BE COMPLETED ] within 90 days of the Season end, or view the in-app winners announcement.
